C2C-NewCap is a Portuguese company that develops and manufactures electric energy storage solutions based on supercapacitors.
We are looking for a researcher/technical engineer (PhD or 5+ years of experience) to join our team in a cutting-edge innovation project aiming to develop a disruptive supercapacitor technology to replace electrolytic capacitors in high-temperature applications.
Required skills:
- PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or similar (equivalent working experience may also be considered)
- More than 5 years of experience in R&D/chemistry laboratory environment in electrochemistry area (preferable)
- Experience preferably in electrochemistry or energy storage, or similar (corrosion or catalysis). Ideally, the candidate should have experience with EIS.
- Coordination of small teams and project management skills
- Curious, disciplined, flexible

- Team player
- Good communication skills (written and oral)
- Portuguese and English proficiency
What will you do:
- Lead the development team and coordinate the project activities according to the work plan
- Fulfill the reporting requirements of the project
- Design of electrochemical tests set-up and protocols
- Work independently in a cross-functional team
